This painting entitled 'Power' was a vision I had one night right before I was about to go to sleep. Although I wasn't quite sure what it meant when I had the vision, I had to paint it. Upon completing the painting which happened to co-incide with a time in ireland when women (and men) were beginning to speak up about abuse, pregnancy and abortion I knew this painting was a message to women everywhere to speak up and take their divine power back.
